Drontal is effective in the control of gastrointestinal Roundworms and is also effective against Hookworms and Whipworms, all of which are present in the UK, in dogs and puppies. Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age and every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Thereafter they should be treated at 3 monthly intervals throughout their lifetime. This product may be administered whilst the bitch is lactating but we recommend that you consult a veterinary surgeon before treating a bitch whilst she is pregnant. Panacur Granules is effective against both immature and mature Roundworms of the gastro-intestinal and respiratory tracts. It is also effective in the treatment of Lungworm in both cats and dogs. Panacur is suitable for the treatment of pregnant bitches to reduce prenatal infections of Roundworm. Panacur granules can also be safely used on pregnant queens. Small or unweaned puppies and kittens should be treated with Panacur Oral Suspension but weaned animals may be treated using Panacur Granules. Please refer to the data sheet for further details.
