Well made and attractive coat

My dog is a Havanese and is therefore long bodied 14" shoulder to tail and short 11" high to the withers with a small chest approx 17" and so I was very unsure what size coat to go for. I decided to order both the 12" and 14". I had no problem with Petplanet when I asked about returning the coat that didn't fit. Once I saw him in the 12" I realised it was far too short in length for him. The 14" initially seemed a perfect fit and I was pleasantly suprised that the girth strap also fitted nicely as I thought it would be too big. After taking him for a walk in the rain I saw that his fur was starting to matt a bit and realised that the chest piece was too wide for such a small dog and was rubbing. I, therefore, took the excess material in along the centre of the chest piece ensuring that the seam was smooth next to my dog with the excess being on the outside of the coat. Once the coat is being worn you can't see the excess material sticking out. I also reduced the amount of elastic in the "V" shaped panel under the neck hole which made it a snugger fit around his neck. This has solved the problem and he now has a nice fitting coat. Danish Designs, if you read this, any chance of making a range of coats for dogs with longer bodies as I see reading the reviews this is a common problem with dog coats? Basically, for eg the 12" or 10" chest piece with a 14" length It's not just Danish Designs, I have looked around other makes and the same prob occurs in that this shape of dog is not catered for . The other thing to point out is that there is no slot for the ring to pass through if you use a harness. If you're handy with at sewing you could do as I did and make one easily in exactly the right position for the harness being worn by using the button hole stitch on a sewing machine. So, apart from the fitting issues which were due to my breed of dog rather than the make, I am very happy with both the look and the quality of the materials and manufacture of the coat and at a good price too.

this litter pan great. i took door off as it is for tiny kitten. it is deep so no spillage and i love the fact it opens at the top so much easier to scoop clean.

Yes they're great. They do keep warm for a very long time. Perhaps not cold enough yet to see how much my rabbit snuggles up to it though. It's more peace of mind for me that he's warm than anything!

I have been buying this product for years from different places depending on the price which fluctuates. Pet Planet was the most reasonable this time.There are not usually discounts for bulk orders as I usually order 10 and this astonishes me very time as it is a lot of money but then so is replacing carpets and furniture when cats spray!!

firstly, PetPlanet service was brilliant. I ordered this on Tuesday evening at around 9pm. It arrived this morning thursday before 8am-all for free delivery!
As for the product:
Design-attractive, spacious functional and secure.
Ease to build-I managed to build it eventually! We ordered two and my husband built his in no time at all whereas I struggled a little. With a little patience it comes together and it is worth the trouble.
quality-at first when you take it out of the box it does feel a little flimsy but once this has been built it is strong and sturdy.
Space-plenty of room for one cat, easily get a full litter of kittens in and for short tips you may get 2 small cats in. i have purchased one each for my two Bengals so they have plenty of room to move around .
Top features-the front opening door is easy with one single clasp,the food trays are great for giving them a treat whilst in the waiting room or after they have been to the vets, air ventilation is brilliant, appears very cosy especially if you but a blanket in.
Downsides-the top opening function is a little tricky to close again but with practice it is fine, the carry strap is not really practical as it is a heavy box plus its resident s with a thin strap!
Overall a Purrfect Product, well worth investing in, beats any carrier in traditional stores. shame these are not available more widespread but PetPlanet offers a really good price, i shall recommend this to anyone.

Love the quality and depth of the cushion, now she's gotten used to it she loves it, although for a large bed it's not all that large, my Millie is half border terrier half jack russell and is quite small, any bigger dogs would struggle to stay on it I think, anything bigger than a JRT would need extra large.
