The mat does appear to trap dirt but I specifically paid more for a mat that would 'grip' the carpet and it doesn't do this well at all, I am constantly having to pull it back into position.

after trying a different harness which was too big, I opted for this one, it fits my Shih Tzu really well, and is comfortable, no rubbing around his legs, as it is well padded. It does stop his pulling too,not altogether, but it's early days.

It took a couple of weeks of trailing it in front of him and moving it underneath things before my cat did any more than just watch well, he is 8. Now this is his favourite toy. Despite his wild, rough nature he seems to treat this very gently as if he doesn't really want to damage it so although he pounces on it and bites it I am sure he is trying to make it last and it is still in good condition - just lost a couple of feathers. I have ordered another one for when it does finally wear out.

I have a long-haired Border Collie and find this product is really good at combing out the undercoat. It's far more effective than a brush or ordinary metal comb. My only concern is that there are no instructions on how to change the heads and despite emailing Petplanet for advice, I have not had a reply. I don't want to attempt to change the heads until I am sure of how to do it properly.
