I have measured it for you now that I have received it. Length of the body part of the harness, from tail to neck, is 5.5 inches. The cloth part of the body is what I've measured here, and it's obviously supposed to fit on the dog's belly (which would be curved on most dogs), so measure your dog's belly, not his back! Chest circumference is approximately 13 inches. It could be adjusted several inches smaller, but there isn't really enough give to adjust it a whole lot larger in the chest. You could get maybe 1 more inch out of it. This is a very high quality harness. I am amazed at how inexpensive it is and I would recommend it to anyone whose dog is the correct size.
