The small was too small and the medium was too large. I have a fox terrier of 10 kilos.                     Brilliant posted on 11/10/2011 by jorapp33 I am a veterinary nurse at a referral centre and have recently started using these slings. They are excellent for our spinal patients and other orthopaedic patients. We will start selling them to owners soon as they always ask what we use and are impressed by the quality of the sling. The only down side is that you do not sell the xtra small sling which fit our small spinal dogs well. This has meant we have had to start ordering all sizes from another supplier as they do the XS. This product enables us to get him back to the car and lift him into the car much more easily. My first attempt to use it didn't meet with much success as he refused to move and I had to force the issue. I now realise I had it on backwards and was probably squashing something very precious to him!! Once on the right way we can take the weight off his legs and give him some balance. For a dog with only slight nerve damage I would not use for a full walk as it might become too dependant on the harness                     New lease of life! posted on 15/08/2010 by fizybow I am really pleased with this purchase.My 14 year old cocker spaniel was having difficulty with her hind legs and it was very upsetting to see how she wanted to run around but couldnt. I ordered the small size in this which fitted her perfectly and no adjustment was required. She wears it all the time (can defaecate and urinate with it on no problem) and it is amazing to be able to walk her again. These are really well made harnesses and ours now fits well as I have made a slight adjustment which can be reversed once Harry, our Clumber Spaniel has re-gained some of his weight. He very is happy to wear the harness all day and it is certainly helping in his rehabilitation following spinal surgery. I hope I never have need of a harness for another dog but I would certainly buy this type again.                     Exactly what I wanted posted on 15/02/2010 by jagibson51 My dog suffers from Hip Dysplasia and cannot now use her back legs.This harness has given her a new life being able to walk down the road again. Had 3 attempts at getting the size correct but Petplanet refunded the cost of the first 2 within a week. We could do more with internet companies like this. Well done Petplanet.                     Appeared to be exactly what I was looking for - good quality and well finished posted on 27/11/2009 by eliztara I only managed to open the parcel and look at the harness. Toby, my labrador became very sick that same day and I didn't even manage to try it on him. He died later that night. Despite having opened all the wrappings, I had absolutely no problem in returning the harness to PetPlanet. The lady I spoke to was very understanding and sympathetic and I have since been credited with the full amount, despite saying that I would expect to get an amount deducted for postage and re-wrapping.
