The benefit of the filtration system was immediate, water which was becoming cloudy after a couple of days has remained clear for 2 weeks. The documentation recommended replacing the filter once a month and cleaning the gravel with a specific cleaner - so I far haven't found these on petplanet.                     Good posted on 04/03/2009 by Stacey Does the job                     Disappointed posted on 19/04/2007 by Deputypaul I was really disappointed with this... my tanks water was really dirty and resulted in 'sludge' around the rim. It works well enough to oxygenate the water for me , but it doesn't filter at all. The water is cloudy within a day, and I feel sorry for myself as my mum is going on holiday next week, and I thought this would be a good piece of equipment to keep me well and happy.
