My German Shepard Max tends to destory most toys but this one is still in one piece after 4 weeks from christmas. Which is a micracle considering most last a couple of days. There are lost of bits sticking out like the skis and antlers but they are well attached. And for £5 it is excellent value for money and beats the pets at home toys hands down. A great Idea which seemed to work! posted on 29/01/2007 My elderly dog has always been a fan of toys and this was no exception. It seemed sturdy enough - elderly or not - he still likes to test his toys' durability! As for it retaining it's scent well, it seemed to work. Whenever I had to leave him for a while I gave hime this (after cuddling it of course) and unlike his other toys this one seems to stay next to him all the time.
