DescriptionSimple to affix into place, simple to operate, this Diamond Mesh Pet Gate pressure-mounts in place in an instant with no need for any tools. It works perfectly in keeping your dog in a specific location / away from visitors or children.
The gate is made from a hardwood frame with a rigid plastic diamond mesh panel and no-mark rubber bumpers. You can only place it between even surfaces of the same width - the pressure mounting is found on either side, top and bottom. You release the catch on the right and lift the upper bar all the way up before selecting the right length and then pushing down.
Use for openings 66-107cm wide, the gate stands at 58.5cm high.
This gate slides open when the locking bar is released.
NB Young puppies have a tendency to chew almost anything. PetPlanet recommends spraying the gate with an anti-chew spray when used to contain young puppies.
Customer note: This wooden product is not suitable for avid chewers. If your dog does chew, we would suggest a metal pet barrier.

Perfect product for us. posted on 14/06/2016 by Paul
Excellent product, ready assembled and easy to use. Purchased to keep our cat downstairs as she was clawing the stairs and landing carpet. Works a treat, easy to fit and use. Simply Adjusts to varying widths and I would definitely recommend.

I needed a door gate barrier to confine my cairn x terrier after orthopaedic surgery and didnt want to resort to permanent stair gates as I needed it for a main doorway might need to remove it as needed and it is only required for 12 weeks I liked it because it looked low enough for all the family including my nine year old to step over easily and didnt look too unsightly To be honest I tried to fit it but was unsuccessful however husband did it immediately It fits really well and is very sturdy once fitted It is ideal to confine our dog who is a small medium size It may not be suitable for larger breeds Very happy with purchase and delivery was very speedy

Not sure at first how to get the correct width versus pressure but if you follow the instructions word for word the gate fits perfectly I have a cairn terrier puppy and she cant get out the kitchen and the gate is just the right height to step over Brilliant pet gatemuch better than a childrens version No chance of squeezing through this one Definitely recommend

When I first used it I thought it would break easily but a few months later and it is quite robust You press the locking mechanism and you really have to push it in place but it is quite strong We leave it in place and climb over it and I plan to use it on an outside door when the weather turns good It really is versatile

Like others on here I was confused about how to put it up - you release the catch on the right and lift the upper bar all the way up before selecting the right length and then pushing down - but otherwise its great, does the job and its nice that its partly made of wood. Very easy to use.

Though the puppies have not yet arrived the gate has been tried and fits perfectly on the bottom step of a curved stairway VERY narrow piece of wall on inside edge so little to grip Strength of seal is awesome and so easy to fit remove and refit Thank you

I have found this a great help My little Yorkie was able to climb through a regular baby gate Easy to use and wide enough to fit wider doorways in a modern house

This is perfect, just the right height to step over without having to move it. Did take a bit of thought sorting out how to fix it (didn't realise the catch on the right could be pulled up). Great value for money

Sick of our little dog retrieving the post before us, and unable to fit a box over the letterbox owing to space restriction, I searched the internet for a barrier to fit across our 41" hall. This was just what I was looking for, and apart from the instructions for fixing not being clear (thanks everyone who posted the answer to this riddle) I am very pleased with it. The delivery service was excellent.
