As ticks drop off by themselves in a few days, the drops aren't going to save the dog discomfort. I'll carry on using the tweezers rotate them anti-clockwise to remove the legs from the dog and lessen the risk of infection. Great value posted on 19/06/2008 I'll always keep some of this as a 'standby', having dogs who like to stick their heads down rabbit holes and pick up ticks around their ears.
