Customer Reviews: Looks nice, gets occassional use posted on 28/10/2008 I have 2 tonkinese kittens aged 4 months. One uses vertical scratchers, the other uses our carpet... so I bought this mat hoping he would prefer a horizontal scratching pad. Needless to say, he still prefers the carpet. However opening it for the first time, both kittens chewed it and seemed to love the catnip scent but it seems that the fascination has quickly worn off. However, a very pretty and well made product, and I live in hope, that one day, they may take to it!
