I love the idea of this but it doesn't work. I read the previous review and it says that they have to chew the wood to get the nut out but mine just fell out. It doesn't really look/smell like a nut they werent that im pressed although my hamster likes it.

Good value hammies didnt seem very intrigued with it tho x28 posted on 15/07/2011 by sweetthing2090
Both hammies tried getting the nut for about 5 minutes then easily got bored better just hiding bits of treats that they can actually get to
Good idea lacking design posted on 30/05/2012 by Powellio1505
The product in itself is very good and my roborovskis seem to like them but I have found like other reviewers that the nuts fall out easily Much more suited to dwarfs because of the size of the product and how much harder it is to knock them out Still a great product
Hamster not interested posted on 02/01/2014 by GB
Sadly my hamster totally ignores these He is not much of a chewer though so it might be ok for other animals
mixed feelings posted on 06/02/2013 by mrsnyoung
I was disappointed that when I opened the bag the nuts from two out of the three cubes had already fallen out so I couldnt use them The third cube however with the nut still securely in place has proved a big hit with my guinea pigs they go crazy chewing at the cube and throwing it around the cage Doubt I would purchase again though

An ok item posted on 23/06/2014 by kja15
Brought these for my Syrian hamster to try and get him to chew I put one in his caged and he has not touch it its been in his cadge for over 2 weeks and he hasn't touch it. Not to say any other has wouldn't but mine didn't. There a lot smaller than I thought they would be. The nut can come out very easy but it will say in. For the price its a good item but just not for me or my hamster.
Nuts dropped out for me too posted on 29/10/2013 by SALLY
One of the nuts dropped out as soon as I got the packaging off But I am also wary because they are quiet small in relation to my standard lionhead rabbit But he seems happy flinging the wooden cubes around anyway and I stuff hay into them with a different treat in Keeps him occupied which was the point
