this works really well on my dog as he sometimes gets a heat rash and then scratches it it is slowly going away and i think he actually likes me rubbing it on his belly too

I bought this for my German Shepherd who has a skin condition that makes her sore and itchy. It really soothed her skin, took all the redness off and she enjoyed having it rubbed in so it obviously did not sting.Bit of a small tub when using on a big dog but definately worth it for the results obtained.

Not as effective as I had hoped posted on 18/08/2008 by cognitivedan2006
First off, the cream smells FANTASTIC, and this is half the trouble. I used it to soothe a sore spot on my cat's back, but he was equally delighted with the smell and licked the spot raw as a result. I had to combine it with bitter aloes to stop the cat from skinning himself with his tongue all the time when I did that the treatment worked well. No doubt if it could be spread onto an unreachable patch of skin it would work fine, but I won't know until I actually try it.
