Customer Reviews:                     no good for my little dog posted on 01/06/2010 by lana After reading all the good reviews regarding this product I thought I'd give it a try.My cavalier king Charles has an allergy to three different types of mites and scrathes his tummy and chews at his feet untill they are red raw, but after just one application of this oil, his skin became very red and inflamed. So not for my little Reuban I'm afraid.On a good note, I did'nt think the smell was too bad. I have reordered more already and suggest you try it if your dog suffers with skin irritations or skin allergy's. Yes it smells vile, but it has cleared up a couple of sore patches that have been on my dog's leg for ages. Conventinal medicine's from vet all failed! They mainly live indoors and so their pads can get sore from the sawdust so the cream treats this very well. My oldest guineapig has a sore patch from a cyst which the cream is helping to heal. When the guineas go outside I worry about problems with flies and the cream is a natural deterrent so that's another concern addressed. It speaks volumes that if even flies won't go near it then the smell really is vile but it's worth putting up with for a product that works! The pot is small but I've found that a tiny amount goes a long way. This cream smells bad, which stops any of the other dogs licking it off, and is keeping the skin soft and scale free, and the hair is slowly coming back.
