This is such an improvement and definitely worth the money. Bought on word of mouth recommendations and I can't rate it highly enough. However when it arrives make sure that the washer at the back of the wheel is on correctly according to the instructions on the wheel as mine was put on back to front and doesn't make the wheel run smoothly.                     Best wheel ever posted on 04/03/2011 by jeepster968 I read reviews on this wheel from America and was delighted to find it here in the UK. This is the best rodent wheel around. I purcased the junior one for my Syrian Hamster and she loves it. She was in using it within 2 minutes of finding it in her cage. She spends hours in it and the junior one is a perfect size for her. It allows the hamster to run in a safe way and they enjoy the enclosed design. It also allows them to run flat without any curving of their spine which is better for them. Just one caution with it. When you buy it immediately take it apart and rub some vegetable oil on the spindle and washers as this prevents it from squeaking. Without the vegetable oil it makes a dreadful noise. The wheels are quiet and smooth. The only problem I have with Dynomite is that she also stores her food in it, so when she runs it sounds like a rocky tide coming in and out. like to know how to stop her doing it!                     The Best Hamster Wheel Available posted on 15/09/2010 by steve-e Having read numerous forum views and comments, this really did seem to be the only choice unless you go larger. Excellent construction and quiet. Hamy (as my son has named our new house guest) spends a lot of time in it and running in and out of it, appearing to have great fun. PetPlanet appear to be the only internet retailer of this product and gave a good quick service, thank you.                     Syrians love this wheel posted on 11/09/2010 by SyrianFan I hate it when cages don't come with a large enough wheel for a Syrian hamster..they can't use smaller wheels because it hurts their back. That's why the junior Wodent Wheel is perfect for a Syrian, plus it spins beautifully and silently. my girl runs for a long time which is great exercise for her. The best part is you don't have to have it freestanding either....the base stand can swivel so you can attach it to the side or top of a wire cage with cable ties or similar, thus making it even sturdier and fixed to the cage...she has a large cage!
