As soon as it went in their cage they were running in and out of it and hiding things inside. They have been having a good gnaw on it (as expected of degus!) and as it's made of good thick wood it will be ages before they do it much harm - great value as a house and chew toy for them. When I saw the pictures of this Leif playhouse, I thought it would be ideal for him. Monty absolutely loves his new house! I didn't realise just how big it was, but I'm 100% satisfied with this product 8 as is Montyas he has lots of room inside to run around and/or hide, as well as plenty of choices for places to sleep. It is quite big, which gives him lots of space to run all around it. It's different sized compartments are great and gives him lots of choice of where to sleep and play.
