The best food going posted on 28/04/2012 by Labowner
I already feed Burns food to my older dog but when I got a new puppy she was on another brand so we intended to continue with it However I soon realised the new puppy was not doing well on the food she was on it was all going straight through I changed her gradually to Burns and she has not looked back She turned out to be gluten intolerant and many puppy foods contain wheat but Burns is hypoallergenic You feed a smaller amount too so it does not work out more expensive in the long run Our older Lab has been on Burns for some years we have no problems with her weight and she almost never gets an upset tummy despite living up to the breeds reputation as a dustbin dog Burns is excellent stuff I recommend it
Dogs love it and not as expensive as it seems posted on 17/02/2012 by petplanet193
We bought this on the recommendation of a dog trainer and it seems very good Absorbs water quickly which means we can feed our puppy quickly with minimal noise Also recommended amount per day is about half that of Purina Pro Plan which were transitioning her off onto Burns so although it seems expensive it will last twice as long

My pup loved Burns mini bites he needed more satisfaction with his growth rate and whilst it still great food he is not as keen on it as the mini bites. Will stick with it he does eat it not with so much relish and he appears to have very expressive eyes. However he is in fab condition his coat shines and his poos are just as they should be.
