She is docked so I sew a square of flannel over the hole where her tail would go through, and we use ordinary incontinence pads for humans which are good and absorbent. The velcro fastening is nice and strong, but the elastication allows for movement and mininises chafing. They wash well and don't take too long to dry. This product has helped to save our sanity and carpets, and allows us all to cope with our dog's disability more easily. Previous reveiws helped with sizing and I ordered the XXL for a 40kg male and this fits perfectly, I would recommend for dogs with slight incontinence though not sure how it would cope with anything more than this, the only downside is having to wash the product daily, but this is nothing if it helps to make the dog more comfortable.
