It is strong, yet flexible enough to allow the dog to lie down. Unfortunately, this harness does not make enough different sizes to fit all shapes of dogs, otherwise would be a good value harness. PetPlanet Says: We never like to hear customers disappointed with a purchase from Petplanet.co.uk and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.                     Not a great design posted on 22/01/2010 by chloe292 The harness itself is fine and well made but because of then way you are supposed to attach it to the seatbelt put the seatbelt clip through the loop on the harness my dog gets dragged down to the lowest point to the right of the passenger seat because obviously the seatbelt is going in that direction and getting narrower and the harness ends up all twisted around her. I doubt we will get much use out of this so I am going to look at other brands to find something with a better attachment as she is otherwise very pleased to be out of her crate.
