Although I had to be sent a replacement due to a fault with the original as usual Pet Planet were very speedy and very helpful Customer services are excellent The bowl itself is just extremely useful and are great for putting in your bag or rucksack when going out with the dogs We also keep one in the car so that we are never caught short on trips out which we had been many times before All in all every dog owner should have one
Good - only one drawback posted on 08/06/2016 by Kiri
This a very inexpensive item and well made and packs into an umbrella-style case that can be attached to a lead, collar etc. It comfortably holds two pints of water. It is not impermeable. Water will "sweat" out of it but there were no actual leaks. Be aware it is not suitable for leaving with a dog unsupervised. A clumsy [or playful!] nose or foot will cause the sides to collapse and all the water will escape. This happened when I left Kiri [flat coated retriever] in the car for 15 mins and I left the bowl filled for her. There is no rigid framework to keep it open, only the weight of water does this. Nevertheless I found it still a very useful gadget on a beach holiday in hot weather as long as I was present when it was being used.
