a nightmare to construct The instruction manual is in the tiniest print possible and none of the parts are labelled It is up to anyones guess which part is which The bottom tray does not sit in properly so had to put wedges underneath stopping it drop down Otherwise the finished product looks the part and is enjoyed by two happy guinea pigs

I bought this hutch for my house Rabbit as it looks very handsome as a piece of furniture. The hutch is made of solid Whitewashed Nordic Pine which makes it very sturdy. Its two levels allow just about enough space for bunny to run freely and the full roof opening is great for access and feeding. However, it was a NIGHTMARE to construct as it came without decent instructions and took me 3 hours to build. The ONE door at the bottom is a tad too small for a human arm to access food bowls without dislocating a shoulder but being able to slide out the upper and lower floor trays for cleaning is a great help. The wooden sides make it great for bunny to gnaw on and the lovely rabbit decorations painted on the hutch give it a nice ShakerArts and Crafts feel. I'm not sure I would go so far as to call it a cottage and I do think at £240 its quite expensive but for an indoor hutch that is sturdy and looks unusual its a nice piece of kit all in all I'd give it 7/10.
