The MasterPlus spray collar is a simple, practical and effective training aid which changes the dog's behaviour without punishing him. MasterPlus consists of a waterproof receiver/collar to be worn around the neck of your dog. Signals are transmitted from a remote control device, which features an internal antenna and ON/OFF system, in the palm of your hand up to 300m (984ft) away. Reception of a signal triggers the collar to release an odourless, completely innocuous spray which surprises your dog through noise, a cold sensation and the sight of a cloud, so that he becomes receptive to your demands again. Kit includes unit, collar, aerosol, remote unit with carry strap, carry case, and instruction manual. NB We would recommend the use of Energiser or Sanyo lithium batteries to operate the unit effectively. Please remember to switch the collar off when not in use. The battery will continue to drain slightly the whole time the unit is switched on.

| We bought this for our 6 year old Golden Retriever who was in the seemingly unbreakable habit of eating her poo and her sister's.
This collar has been the only thing that's worked and we now have control if she runs off to try and eat scraps.
Actually, when she has it on she is a completely perfect dog with no bad habits at all!
On the 1st few days of wearing it she seemed very scared and that's horrible to see. But after 4 or 5 walks she started behaving naturally again and was her old self minus the bad habits!
Completely worth the money. |

| I had gone to the pet shop to buy a Halti to stop him pulling, and was told about this collar as my 13 month old Lab puppy was a handful to say the least! What a difference it has made in only a couple of days - I am absolutely thrilled with it, and Shadow is much happier, or at least I am! He is no longer eating dog poo whilst out, and I only need to use the sound button rather than the spray to recall him from playing with other dogs. It does what it says on the packet, and disrupts what they are up to, rather than hurting them, or frightening them. The only thing I would say is that he seemed rather subdued for a few days and tended to stick under my feet - he is now back to his old self, and playing with every dog that he meets! |

| An excellent method of calming down a Border Collie pup, after only two days a totaly different animal. After a week she is brilliant, so much so I will have to sell the collar on e bay as hardly used. |

| My GSD came to me at a year old with NO social skills. He was forever barking at any sound or movement outside the house and garden, and continually barked at things outsides the car - dogs, pushchairs, bicycles, motor bikes, people walking............once he started - nothing was safe!! He became anxious and exhausted on car jouneys.
After a week of wearing the collar this has virtually stopped! Any indication that he may bark and I simply use the warning beep with his 'quiet' command and he changes his mind. He happily watches the neighbours now - o longer shouts at them!! I have banned them from speaking to him, at the moment, and may need to use the collar again when we reinstate conversation with him!!
Also works brilliantly in the car - he sometimes growls but that too stops with a warning beep and/or a verbal command.
It is easy to have the remote attached to your wrist and accessible without the dog noticing that you are doing anything. I have used a 'spray' in the past, but that was obviously coming from me - and I had to get it out of my pocket - the collar/remote is more effective as it is so close at hand and he does not realise that I am doing it!!
Provided that it is used consistently and ONLY for the behaviour you are working on, and in conjunction with a verbal command, it is marvellous. It has made driving in the car a dream and, once I feel that the behaviour has stopped, I will use it to reinforce his concentration on me, when doing heel work.
If it has a 'downside, its the 'on'off' bleeps after two hours. If he has been quiet for that period of time he gets two unnecessary bleeps to switch it off accompanied by a bewildered look! and I have to switch it back on - which makes it bleep again. I try to take it off to reset so that he does not associate the bleep with a behaviour - but it is not always convenient to do that - it really needs a silent reset - possibly remotely - to be fair to the dog.
Yes, it is expensive, but it really worked for us and I'm sure my neighbours think I have changed dogs!! |

| I take my Cairn Terrier, aged 2, to training classes and the lady that runs the class recommended this to me. My Cairn is a little head strong to say the least and the effect this collar has on her is brilliant. Although initially she was terrified and I felt awful! she has now accepted that I am in control and even without the collar on, her behaviour is so much better and calmer. I have only been using it two weeks! Great price and a fabulous investment! Thank you!! |

| My puppy has always had a bit of selective deafness when it comes to obeying commands and at almost a year old I was getting worried as she had developed some bad habits of lead such as barking at other people and dogs, and over-boisterous play which alarmed some other dogs and their owners. She's a very high energy breed so keeping her on the lead all the time would not be an option, I needed something else to support me . Using this product has totally cured her of all this to the point that I am highly confident when out and about that she will come when i call her and will stop bad behaviour on the 'no' command without me having to use the spray. Just putting the collar on her seems to be enough now, I don't usually have to activate it. That's only after 2 weeks use! I give it 11 out of 10! Expensive but worth every penny. |
