Most of a fleas life is not spent on your pet but on the areas that your pet commonly visits, ie carpets, bedding, rugs etc. If you suspect fleas the only sure way of getting rid of the problem is to treat each animal in the household and any soft furnishings that they have come into contact with. At last a household flee spray that works at every stage of the flea's life cycle, adults, eggs, larvae and is the first spray to work on pupae. Skoosh contains no insecticides and is harmless to humans and their pets. It works by coating fleas, larvae and pupae in a sticky trap of silicones. The fleas and larvae are rendered helpless and immobile. Eggs and pupae are unablet to hatch. It is not necessary to treat the entire house simply concentrate on the areas that your pet frequents. Skoosh can be used on most surfaces however before using on delicate fabrics such as leather it is recommended that a small out of sight area is tested. Fleas will be unablet o hatch from treated survaces for at least 6 weeks. Reapplication may be required after this period. In order to be effective it will be necessary to treat any animals in the household for fleas and as fleas act as an intermediary host to tapeworm and effective worming treatment is also recommended.
