My grey tabby was twice the size he should be before I used it ok maybe that is a slight exaggeration but he was seriously in need of a major groom. He'd only arrived in my home recently from a rescue centre and I have to say was not too keen at first but some slight scratches later and he nows actually relaxes and quite enjoys being furminated !                     The answer to my 3 Maine Coons moulting posted on 12/04/2012 by mark_j Much better value that the leading name brand solid construction with ergonomic handle positive click action for snapping the comb head onto the handle multiple comb heads so no need to guess which size is suitable and best of all works great on my 3 long hair cats After trying out many different types of combs and brushes I had almost lost hope in finding a solution to keeping my cats coats in top condition Battling with the older boy was distressing for both my wife and I and most of all for him Now using the FurBeater for just a few short sessions has been so effective on him and my other two cats that I wont be using any of my older combs and brushes again Not suitable for matted hair but will definitely help avoid them developing matts in the first place Tried using on a rainedon cat today and although not quite as effective as on a dry coat does have the advantage that combing can be done indoors as the hair doesnt fly around everywhere I am confident that regular use of the FurBeater will be a breeze with my cats keeping them happier and my clothes less furry Its also more effective than regular combs as originally recommended by my vet in terms of my time and the cats patience Highly recommended Read all reviews...
