We recommend consulting your vet when feeding veterinary diet foods. Read More
Therapeutic veterinary diets are carefully formulated and recommended to be used in conjunction with veterinary advice and support. Royal Canin strongly recommend you seek advice from your vet prior to and during feeding of any of these products to your pet.
DescriptionRoyal Canin Sensitivity Control is for the nutritional support of dogs in cases of: a food elimination trial, food allergies with dermalogical and /or gastrointestinal signs, food intolerance, inflammatory bowel disease, diarrhoea in adult dogs and puppies or colitis.
Duck and Tapioca are the only sources of protein and carbohydrate in this diet. Both are rarely involved in food allergies. These ingredients therefore reduce the risk of gastrointestinal or dermatological reaction. The inclusion of high amounts of biotin, niacin and pantothenic acid in combination with zinc reduces water loss through the skin and support the barrier effect of the skin. Eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic acids (omega 3 long-chain fatty acids) help maintain skin health and contribute to the intestinal mucosal integrity. The food is glucose and lactose free. The combination of highly digestible proteins, prebiotics, (fructo-oligo-saccharides & mannan-oligo-saccharides) sugar beet pulp and fish oil ensure maximum digestive security.

So much cheaper than the vets price! posted on 16/09/2016 by SallyL
2Irish Wolfhounds, both with sensitive stomachs and this is the only thing that suits them. I used to buy direct from my vet for 3 years because I thought i had to, until I discovered Pet Planet through a wolfhound discussion forum. Buy 2 and get free delivery plus much cheaper. You need to allow 4/5 days for delivery so a bit of forward planning is required. Very pleased with service.
Excellent dog food posted on 31/05/2016 by Ascrha6
Our 5 year old Old English Sheepdog (aka: Dulux Dog) has developed a very sensitive stomach and has had regular episodes of sickness and diarrhoea and after a number of vet checks we were advised to put her on Royal Canin Canine Sensitivity Control to see if that would help. Thankfully it did and she has been doing really well on it, no more sickness or diarrhorea and a much happier lively dog. It is one of the more expensive brands however, the results outweigh the cost and having Keira back to her old self again is priceless.

Bought this as alternative the the wet food equivalent recommended and sold by my vet. Worked out a lot better value and my dog loved it. Excellent prompt service as usual from Pet Planet.

My vet recommended this food due to my dog Daisy having anal problems. It was the best thing she could have done as previously Daisy was rather fussy with other makes of dry food but since having this one she cant get enough. I will certainly order more when required.

Perfect for sensitive tummy dog posted on 02/12/2013 by tbjane
My Weimeraner is now 18months old He had awful diarrhea from 11wks old when we got him and after various tests and food trials he was put on a Vet only diet by Royal canin The probable cause was colitis The vet food worked wonders but as he approached a year we decided to change him onto a larger kibble food and researched lots of different types We weaned him from his vet food onto this and there was NO change in his tummy or stools This is a much bigger bag at a much reduced cost This 14kg bag lasts about 6wks and I order online each time he is running low I wont be changing his diet unless it stops working Hes a happy healthy boy full of energy and Im a happy owner not having to clear up puddles on the grass He gets the occiasional flare ups normally if he finds and eats something he shouldnt but I cant fault the food Thank you Pet Planet Quick and easy ordering faultless delivery so far
