They do seem to help in tooth hygene along with toothpaste and other chews. By mistake I bought the T/D mini and two of my shelties just swallow them without chewing, so I will always buy the standard T/D which are larger and which they will all crunch!                     Good value and fast delivery posted on 05/10/2010 by Julia I've recently changed my Westies to Hills T/D on the advice of my vet after Dental cleaning, I din't think they would touch it, but they are eating more than their previous kibble.
