Was a plastic bottom with a plastic upper section and an opening door in the top which has bars. Not easy to use as a door for bunnykins to come and go as he pleases as need to remove entire upper section so he can get in and out. Not obvious where to attach the water bottle and the bottle holder was quite thin plastic which was made short work of. Cage did what was needed but wouldn't want to leave bunny in it for long periods.
