In cases of recurrent idiopathic cystitis, Urinary Wet is recommended. Urinary Feline effectively dissolves struvite uroliths. Increasing the volume of urine simultaneously reduces the saturation of urine with both calcium oxalate and struvite so that this diet produces a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Undersaturated urine is an environment where crystals cannot proliferate. Thus the urine is unfavourable to the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.
