Hills Science Plan Canine VetEssentials Puppy has been exclusively formulated to meet all your pet’s essential health needs. It offers a Veterinary Exclusive: Advanced nutrition for healthy growth and development with strong immunity. High in clinically proven antioxidants and DHA. Through targeting the key areas that are appropriate to this age group, your four legged friend will be kept in peak condition:- Immunity: Clinically proven antioxidants with high levels of vitamin E to support a healthy immune system
- Digestion: Digestible proteins and balanced fibre to help support healthy digestion
- Vitality: Precise balance of minerals and omega-3 fatty acids for healthy bone and joint development
- Skin & Coat: High levels of omega-6 fatty acids help promote healthy skin and a shiny coat
- Oral health: Precise balance of vitamins and minerals for healthy development of teeth
It is perfect for puppies of small and medium breeds from weaning to 1 year old. It is also suitable for pregnant and lactating bitches. It is not recommended for long-term feeding to adult dogs unless they have a higher than normal energy requirement. This food can be fed to puppies in the last half of lactation so that they receive the same food as the mother and this simplifies the weaning process. This food is enriched with a high level of DHA, (docosahexaenoic acid) this is an essential structural component of the brain which occurs in mother’s milk. This makes this formula ideal before weaning and through continued feeding after weaning you are providing DHA to help with critical formation and the development of brain and eyes. This food may be fed in combination with any of the canned Science Plan Puppy range.

| We were recommended this by our vet as our springer spaniel pup has a sensitive tum and was quite ill with his previous food His condition and temprement has totally changed now we feed him this its like having a different dog Can only get 2kg size from vet but then found larger bag here which is much more economical |

| My six month old puppy loves this food I was previously feeding him a retailers own dry puppy food which he didnt really seem that interested in I thought perhaps he didnt like dry food but I was wrong He loves the Hills dry food It seems moister than the other food and the change over hasnt upset his tummy in the slightest Its so nice to see him enjoying it Very pleased with the speed of delivery and value for money and will definitely be ordering from Pet Planet again |

| My springer spaniel pup started life on another product but we then got a free sample from the vet with our puppy pack I have always been cautious of the pricier products but I have to say that this food keeps very fresh smells good and as I was not keen on her having dried food at all this is alot more moist then others and she eats the lot within seconds I think this product is worth spending a bit more on I am happy with it and will not change it now Anyway it isnt that much dearer than other dried food Would certainly recommend this food and for anyone with doubts like me it is worth it Fast delivery as well Will buy from here again no problems |

| This is the only food our puppy can eat that does not give him an upset stomach. I bought a small bag from the vets, just to try it, but it was really expensive. I bought a much larger size, which proved to be much better value. Delivery was quick and efficient I will be buying from this company again. |

| We buy this regularly for our Jack Russell pup. When we rescued him he was emaciated and in terrible condition, and due to the nutritional deficiencies in the first months of his life he suffers developmental issues in his joints, and our Vet reccommended Science Plan, as it was the best from a nutritional stand point in ensuring he gets the vitamins and nutrients he badly needs. The change has been remarkable. His coat, once dry and brittle, is glossy and soft, his stool is perfect, and he has filled out wonderfully, and is a bouncy, energetic, happy pup. He loves the food, as well. He turned his nose up at other brands, but Science Plan is gone seconds after you've put the dish down for him. :-) It's also much cheaper to buy from PetPlanet than anywhere else I have found. Top product, top value! |

| Started puppy off on this food and bought it at the vets Not convenient to go to vets and they only sell little bags Bought ordinary Hills puppy food istead of vet essentials and he wouldnt eat it This from a dog that seems to eat anything including pickled onions Went back to this and he scoffs it down Quick delivery and cheapest price on web with free delivery so puppy I are both happy |

| The product is perfect recommended by my vet but pet planet delivered it to the wrong flat and didnt inform me of this so after waiting for a further week I had to call them and it took several hours for them to confirm which address they delivered it to I found out if was delivered to a different flat x28I did not ask for them to deliver to my neighboursx29but because the product was delivered in a box for a completely different product the neighbours denied signing for a dog food delivery During all of this I ran out of food and bought it from the vet for exactly the same price Pet planets customer service has been very poor I used them for convenience and home delivery but this was unreliable and I dont have time to go searching my street for my delivery Also pet planet offered no compensation or further discount for the inconvenience they caused there is no incentive to buy from them again so the vet gets my business from now on the food is exactly the same price there anyway |
