The door clips are prone to being chewed by one of my dogs although these were replaced foc by rosewood via petplanet who contacted them on my behalf. The plastic base trays are very flimsy and do split easily these could be a bit thicker or reinforced to prevent this.                     No more destruction!! posted on 03/09/2009 by Mrsdobo Our labrador had a crate as a puppy but as he grew out of it we gave him free run of the house. After countless chewed shoes, post, and, the final straw, the stair carpet we decided enough was enough and ordered the x-large version of his puppy home. He wasn't too impressed at first but now trots off into it quite happily when we go out!                     Great product posted on 09/07/2009 by sampunn07 Really good value and invaluable for my sanity. We have a 10 week old Jack Russell pup and bought the medium size as wanted her to have plenty of space in it. Can fit in her soft bedding plus area for newspaper and water bowl for overnight. She loves going in it and is happy to spend time in it, day or night.                     Great little cage posted on 20/05/2009 My border terrier puppy has been used to a cage from day 1 with us. I bought this one as a travel cage to leave in the car. It folds and erects easily and puppy sits quite happily in it. I guess if your dog is a big chewer he may set about the clasps but we have had no problems.
