Pedigree state that these contain Animal Deriative's but dont go into detail. I soon found out after persistent scratching and an itchy coat, that they contain Beef which my dog is allergic to. I'm waiting for confirmaiton back from Pedigree to whether the same applies to jointcare sticks. Now she is 15 and has not had any further teeth removed, and only a descale about 3 years ago although this requires anaesthetic. Every night just before bed she gets one of these, and we swear by them. We are also very careful about making sure none of her treats contain any "sugars". They have been with us since they were 8 weeks old and are very spoilt, but well behaved dogs, they love DentaStix and they go to sleep readily once they have had their evening treat. Again using the Petplanet search engine I found the dentastix and now everyday my dog comes looking for his teeth treat.
