I bought this to enable me to keep kittens warm during transport I also used it myself to test it out and it kept warm for 8hrs which I thought was good the only disadvantage is that it is so very hard but as its the warmth that matters I would still have bought it

Brought this for my bunnies as they outside in the shed and I was worried about them being cold Does a fantastic job of keeping the whole shed warm over night Not too sure on how long it stays hot for but I put mine in normally between 9 and 10 and its still Luke warm at 8 in the morning when I take it out Im not sure if they sleep on it as they have the whole shed and I put it in their bed box but it definitely keeps the away inside the shed Would definitelyrrecommend and will be purchasing another one soon for when its colder during the day to switch them Not that u need to as they only take 5mins on each side to heat up So overall very happy with product and the price

My bunny absolutely loves this in fact she will actually ask me for it now by sitting on it and making a fuss at the door of her cage when she wants it heated up in the evening It stays lovely and warm for a long time and she loves sitting on it I imagine it will really come into its own in the proper winter

The zip in our first cushion broke within the first week and by week three my 3kg labradoodle puppy had chewed a hole in the face and taken out almost all the stuffing SoIve ordered another cushion as until he destroyed it he loved sleeping across the first one and the heatpad is still warm in the morning If this one proves to be too fragile Ill ask for my money back but so far its a thumbs up

Bought one five years ago for my pug puppy Just bought another one for my latest pug puppy First one still in good condition But wanted a spareBrilliant idea and the heat pad sold separately fits snugly inside This Bonzo dog is washable but the stuffing goes a bit spartan Shame you cant unzip it and add more stuffing Still doesnt detract from the fact that its a Godsend to a new puppy and gives them a much needed sense of security

i brought this ready for my hedgehog when he come home in the mean time i thought my giant rabbits could see if they liked it one tried to eat it obviously he was ok once id taken the cover off the other well he loves it so they might get one on their birthday i found that it was reaaly hot without out the cover on it but just warm with the cover i presume as it wears down and gets it wear it be warmer though the cover overall very good product

Bought This to help settle new puppy it worked a treat and he loves it snuggling up at night when the heat pad is inserted and pulling it round the house during the day when it is his favourite toy Definitely recommend especially if you want quiet nights in the beginning Note to manufacturers try to hide jipper nylon one is not puppy teeth proof mine sated two days before teeth were destroyed but item still useable

I have told Pet Planet that it needs to be MADE CLEAR that the head pad with free fleecy cover refers to the rather naff little cover that comes with the disc NOT the lovely cushion You have to buy that extra and I dont think that is made clear on this website I have bought one of the Bonzo dogs for the last three years the heat pad for the first year but never used it and a Bruno cat plus heat cushion for my husbands cat this year Products are excellent and I have been buying Bonzo for the last three years for my Springador Grace who has it as her bedtime teddy and loves it VERY MUCH Highly recommended but be careful about what you are ordering

This is a fantastic item and is the second that I have bought for my grandchildrens pet bunny Brocolli He loves them I bought it as a spare in case it got VERY cold Ive also made two spare covers as he has a habit of eating them and ripping them to shreds

Bought two of these wondering if my cats would even use them The one I thought would be unimpressed adored it from the off His brother looked at it as though Id sat an alien in his bed however after sliding it beneath the blanket under his snoozing body he appears convinced it was a great idea Stays warm all night and through into the next day Brilliant

I have used this product for the last 6 years and my Papillons love them. Safe, easy to clean and so portable for the car. Perfect for small pups. I put a crumpled small fleece blanket over the cover to pad it a bit and haven't had a Pap prefer to shiver yet. I even used one under the snails small plastic tank during a house move.

Easy to use safe as no wires and holds its heat for hours so very economical BUT none of my cats or dogs will sit on it or near it
It is so hard a solid plastic mass even with the fleecy cover ontop and I presume would be very uncomfortable on their joints when they tried to lay on it especially their elbows which is why they wont use it
Was originally bought for my elderly cat but she wont go anywhere near it much prefers a sofa cushion
So for my pets 6 cats and 3 dogs it has sadly been a waste of money

This works so well and is great value. It maintains a constant heat overnight and is ideal for new borns-- I put it in the centre of nest of fleecy blankets and it stayed warm for 9 hours! I would totally recommend the Snuggle Safe It's just amazing.

I bought this for my jack russell (9mths) who is used to a snuggle bean bag that also heats that she uses at night. She wasn't too impressed with the hardness of the heatpad and when I tried to put it in under her covers, the heat doesn't come through - the heatpad definitely keeps the heat very well but think my dog is too much of a softie!!

We bought this my collie to use in the car on cold winter days and apart from the usual collie mistrust of anything new, it has been brilliant. The heatpad does keep its heat well and still feels warm to the touch after 6 hours and my dog has learned to snuggle up to it.

This is a great invention. My Italian Greyhound puppy gets quite cold during the night. I heat this up and put it into her bed so she has something warm to lean against. I am not sure it really holds the heat for 5 hours...maybe 4. But it gets her through the night when we choose not to use the central heating. I agree with some people that the cover looks like it won't last that long, but at the same time this item can simply be wrapped in an old pillowcase. Definitely a good buy.

My pup can't stand the cold. He has to sleep in his crate in the conservatory and when the weather got colder he hated it. Now he runs straight in to bed and we find him curled up on it the next morning. Fantastic.

I got this for Bertie, my puppy. I got the cat version as Bertie's mum was black.. he doesn't seem put off it's a cat!! hehe.. Only downside is that the heatpad doesn't seem to penetrate that well, and makes the cushion hard. We use the pad separately, with the cover as a toy/cushion. Works well.

My dog loves snuggling up to this in the winter nights inside the snugglesafe cushion. There is still some heat left in it in the morning. My dog was not interested in it before I bought the cushion to put it in as its hard so not comfortable to sleep on but he sleeps on it all night inside the cushion. Works out quite expensive as you have to buy the cushion separately but definitely worth it.

ive used these heatpads for over 10 years now when i breed my bullmastiffs and bulldogs
this one has once again done what it is ment to do it stays hot and pops in microwave so safer and easier than a water bottle
im very pleased with it and have already recommended to people
the only negative is the cover is not that greatly made a little bit shabby but the pups dont seem to mind

It heats up nicely and stays warm for a long time, my rabbit uses it just fine to keep warm in the night time, but my cat isn't that interested in it and doesn't like sitting on it, but I think he is just extra fussy and because he is such a large cat, it is too small for him to curl up on! I am hoping he will use it more in the winter when he really needs to!

I did have a problem with the one heatpad as it was faulty and PETPLANET were excellent, they paid to have the item sent back and sent be a new one straight away. Excellent service and product. Just what was required this winter to keep guinea pigs warm. Holds the heat for most of the night.
Comes with a furry protective cover which is easily removed and washed.The pad itself can be disinfected.
Would suit a range of animals.

I bought this as we have two 6 week old guinea pigs and no room to keep them inside. I couldn't bear to think of them freezing cold outside so this is perfect, I will use it until the weather warms up. It only takes 5 minutes in my microwave. I just pop it in the bottom of their sleeping compartment at about 9pm, then they are kept warm for the coldest parts of the night and morning. The only thing I would say is that the cover would be better for me if it was made of some waterproof fabric, as the fleece gets tiny peices of straw stuck in it and they have today had an accident on it so I have had to wash it and hope it gets dry before I take it out to them tonight.

This is a super product which my cats love. You can warm it in a microwave for 6 minutes and it keeps warm all day. My cats like it in their bed at night or on their scratching post on cold days. Excellent price but a little slow on delivery. This is the second of these I have bought from this supplier and both have equally successful.

If you buy the heat pad be aware that it is rigid and needs padding to make it comfortable. Bozo the Dog is perfect for a puppy to snuggle up to. William the puppy loves him and the heat pad.

Our 15 year old, unwell cat, very fussy, took to this no bother. We and he are delighted with it. It has been a great boon to him and to us. It has a cover, but I would recommend popping it under a light blanket or fleece for comfort. Keeps its heat as claimed. Would highly recommend it.

This heatpad is great, I have gone down in the morning to find it still feels a little warm. Bought for my elderly arthritic dog - it really helps his back. Have also bought one for my Mum instead of a hotwater bottle that goes from hot to cold within an hour.
Only downside to this product is that it is a solid disc, if one was made that was a bit flexible it would be perfection!

Having read the positive reviews from other purchasers I was disappointed with the performance of the two heatpads that I purchased. Having followed the heating instructions precisely, the warmth generated by the pads lasted no more than 4 hours, and certainly nowhere near the 8 hours claimed by others.

When we brought our 7 week old puppy home for the first time, we expected her to miss her family and probably cry at night for a while. I wanted her to settle as quickly as possible so bought the heatpad to help keep her warm and comfort her. She has never cried at night even form the first night and I think the heatpad helped enormously. It was still warm 10 hours later! Great product.

This has proved really popular with our 6 cats, who wait for it to be microwaved at bedtime and snuggle up to it with purrs...had to buy two to allow access for all! Stays warm all night and means I don't have to worry about our elderly cats aged 17 and 18 getting too cold.

I bought one each for my three cats as it's getting a bit chilly at night now. They are very simple to heat up in the microwave and come with a cute paw print cover. They are very hard though so make sure you put them under/wrap them in a big soft blanket else it's like sleeping on a brick! I suppose if they were soft your pet might chew through them which wouldn't be good. My trio seem to like them and I'm safe in the knowledge they're kept cosy overnight. My cats are still very young so can probably handle the cold fairly well but I can definitely see how these would be very beneficial to older pets. All in all a great invention!

I love this product. It stays warm for ages which is great for keeping my cat warm while I'm out at work and overnight. She is used to it now, but did smell it suspiciously for a few days and did consider 'marking' it herself! My one and only thing with the product would be that the cat can smell something that I can't on it. She's used to it now. I would absolutely recommend it though, just introduce the product carefully to ensure no little accidents on it!

Quality and feel of the cushion is very nice, was disappointed not to get the heatpad with it however, I didn't read the advert properly so my fault entirely but an extra £15 for the pad seems very expensive considering you've just paid for the cushion too.

I've been looking for this all my life! its brilliant for new puppies and kittens but i bought mine for my rabbit who is outside all night. I would like to say that I couldn't have done without these heatpads because there is nothing else to keep the pets beds warm. I have used them for the last 4 years continuously throughout the winter as the feral cats live in houses outside. I have used them for ferrets in the past. I suppose you could use them for other pets living outside but you have to keep the heatpad insulated from the cold. So I always place them inside the beds. I usually use more than one in sub zero temperatures. They do last all night long.

This is a much loved blankie toy but a word of caution the feet stitching started to come undone and filling started coming out. If you have a puppy you MUST check and observe it with Bonzo just in case. Having said that my puppy loves to sleep on it like a litter mate.i do check it all the time though.

The shugglesafe heat pads purchased from Pet Planet were the cheapest I could find at the time of ordering, everywhere else and certainly my branch of Pets at Home were asking £21.99.....well done, I will be back next time. These were put to good use keeping baby hedgehogs alive as my wife is a wildlife carer.

Product was bought as a gift for a friend's dog, a shih tzu, and it hasn't been used yet. I'm sure it will be much appreciated in the winter months, or as soon as the weather turns colder. My friend was very impressed by the sturdy, almost indestructable construction of the heating pad, and was unaware that such items were made for pets as well as people.

A great idea and fits perfectly into the "My First Bed" puppy bed. We haven't actually used it though as the heatwave arrived with the pup and he needed no encouragement to use the bed.

I am often sceptical about the claims of some products but this product really worked. My cat has a damaged leg which is in plaster and he has to be confined to a cage for the time being. As he can't move around he gets very cold so I decided to get a heat pad to place under his blanket at night. By morning the heat pad was still pretty warm and Cosmo was very happy. I've almost been tempted to use the heat pad as a hot water bottle - but this would be a bit mean on the cat!

Great value, the best price I could find by far. Bought at same time as buying cat food so no delivery charge either which was good. Excellent product, recommended by friend who's vet nurse. My new chihuahua loves it!!!

Bought this for our 8 week old beagle pup. Does the job well, however it is let down by a cheap nylon cover which is poorly secured by velcro, both of which our pup loves to chew. We have started putting in her bed a couple of hours before bedtime to warm it up, but removing it when she is in there, which kind of defeats the object.

every owner of a new pup should have one of these, as our pup sleeps all night with it and it even retains it heat for nearly 24 hours, an amazing product which is worth every penny!

I nursed 2 orphan squirrels for a week before I could get them to a wildlife centre, they were only a week old when I took them, I am sure they owe their lives in part to the snuggle safe heat pad. Plus my older toy poodle loves it.

This is an excellent item.
I use it when I take my Miniature Yorkshire Terrier out in her stroller in colder weather.
As she is so small, it is perfect for her to sit at the warm bit or the cooler bit as she chooses.
It is also perfect to use in colder weather in her bed in the house, as she suffers from arthiritis in her hips.
I have a few different childrens hot water bottle covers I have bought that it fits into nicely, just for extra safety as they are very hot when you take them out of the microwave.
Wrapping a blanket round it is safe enough, but puppies like to dig about to get comfy, and there is a risk of them uncovering it.
I am sure all pets of any age would appreciate this product... heat is so soothing and aids sleep.
I wouldn't be without mine :

These are a great deal safer and more convenient than the plug in variety. l foster a great many cats/kittens,who need to be nursed back to health and these pads are excellent for overnight use,or when they need constant gentle heat to help with their recovery.Great service and speedy delivery,and best prices.

These pads really do keep warm for up to 10 hours. I was unable to sleep properly as my three cats insisted on sleeping on top of me in the cold weather. I bought three beds and three of these pads and the problem is solved as they now prefer their cosy beds. I can see these pads would be of great benefit for sick or eledrly animals needing the extra warmth.

I use this every night for our new pup. It goes neatly into the "my first bed". It goes in the microwave for 6 minutes, leave to stand for one minute then is ready to use. Much longer lasting than a hot water bottle.

it's great on a cold day when my hammy is asleep alone at home. i place the heated pad on top of the cage and cover everything with a baby blanket to make it snuggly warm and dark. it worked fine so far

Comes with a nice fleecy covering which is quite attractive too. My dog is getting used to it but wasn't sure at first as it is quite bulky in her bed and she thought the fleecy was for chewing!!! Good value and certainly keeps its heat very well.

This heatpad really does stay warm all night - I know because I have been using it myself and my poor old dog hasn't had a look-in. It would probably be great for small pets but the draw-back is that it is really too small and hard for large elderly arthritic comfort-loving greyhounds, they would prefer something much bigger and softer. Great for humans though!

Absolutely great investment. Good top up to heat lamp. Provides ground level heat for new born puppies. Excellent for taking the pups to the vets and good piece of mind when going to bed, "you know they're going to be warm all night"

These heat pads make great substitutes for hot-water bottles, although they're solid & make quite a thump if they fall out of bed. But they hold the heat for hours longer than my old hottie ever did.

My cats have to fight ME for a shot of this. It's great and keeps warm for a good 8-10 hours. Great for my parent's outside moggy that we adopted after his owners abandoned him too. He can't get in due to their two indoor cats so this is great for cold nights in his wee house we built for him.

My bitch had a litter of 8 by c-section and I found the Heat Pad absolutely invaluable for transporting the litter from the vet surgery. Also great to keep pups warm overnight or when the bitch pops out to relieve herself she goes confidently knowing that pups are snuggling up on the Heat Pad. No wires and so quick and easy to heat up.

Got this for one of my cats who is forced out of the house by my other cat. I have made him his own house outside and insulated it but I still wanted to give him some actual warmth. So far he seems to like it and seems very snug in his home when I put it in when I go to bed.

I bought this for the arthritic hips of my old lady Dog. it helps to ease her pain & she moves more freely after lying with it. As a bonus I've noticed if I lie on it, it relieves my pain & stiffness as I've got arthritis in my lower back (& hips too) My hubby also borrowed it when he went fishing to keep his `seat' warm!. So I'm going to buy another two more just for us! Highly Recommended 100% for Arthritic Pets AND Owners (& grumpy old men with cold derriers) Everywhere!

Our dogs sleep in the kitchen which gets cold at night so this has been a real bonus for our 16wk old pup, but a word of warning the covers that come with the pad are not very robust. Our older dog ripped hers apart on the first night and pup followed suit making both covers unusable

When I first got my kitten it was important that he be provided with a warm bed. This heatpad provided him with the warmth he needed in those early days-three years on I still use the same heatpad to warm his bed during the winter months.
