Would be slightly better with drainage at bottom like plug hole as I do need to tilt it to remove remaining water But it is not too heavy. I can hide it away behind shed when not in use also it is much easier than carrying the dirty dog upstairs! I think they find every mud puddle there is! Product is fine does the job its supposed to do and dogs seem to enjoy it. The one thing that people say about the product is the tap is too low on a flat surface. Well I connected it sideways and it works fine. Hope the suggestion helps you. I ordered the large size for my 9 month old (26kg)labrador, Daisy. It is large but she can stretch out in it and there is plenty of room when bathing her. My teenage daughter likes to loaf in it too! We need to bathe Daisy often as she has a skin allergy. She jumps straight into the bath, no quibbling. The non slip finish is "gritty" so she doesn't slip around and is much calmer than when we used the bathroom. We use it at the end of our decking with the drain tap positioned over the edge. I noticed in the other reviews that the tap was an issue. We found the tap to be fine as the bath is raised off the ground by 4" thanks to the decking. Draining is no problem, it quickly drains into the flower bed. My only (very minor) criticism is the colour....it is pale grey. It also takes a long time to drain so if you want to rinse with fresh water by draining and adding fresh water it would take a long time. However don't let this put you off as it is a good product. I have found that by putting the bath on a flat garden bench made of concrete the bath is at a perfect height for bathing my cocker spaniels without having to bend over and break my back as was the case when they were bathed in my bathroom. The size is perfect and the nonslip base is a good idea. The outlet is not efficient at all but we manage to work around the problem. The only improvement i would make is to remove or fill in the lip around the edge as when leaning into the bath which i have on a stand my top tends to get wet and the dog hair, excess water tends to stand and is awkward to remove/ keep clean. but brilliant value for money and lasts years. It is bigger than I imagined and as my dog is a terrier cross, there's plenty of room. The tap came separately and I put it into the hole at the bottom of the bath at one end. It was impossible to use this tap with the bath on the floor, so I turned the tap round so that the tap acts as a bung and not as a tap. I wanted the bath to be portable, to use inside or indoors. To empty the bath I bale out with a bucket and tip the remaidner on the garden. It is really anti slip - my dog is most reluctant to have a bath, so this is a good feature. As we now have no bath indoors, having replaced it with a shower this dog bath is just what I wanted. I have a border collie and the large bath gives plenty of room to bath her properly. I was surprised that the anti slip coating covered the whole of the inside of the bath but didn't find I caught myself on it. The tap is a bit tricky to fit and I found that I didn't use it to empty the bath so in my opinion the bath would be better without it. Now with another puppy who has more white on him we wanted to get him used to more frequent washes. This bath looks like it will be perfect for our needs and despite a lot of searching I found nothing that came anywhere close to matching it for quality and price. We are pleased we got the large which provides masses of room. Five buckets of warm water filled it sufficiently for our first trial and even the older dog was easier to clean in it. The bath is strong yet light and therefore easy to store provided you have the space. As others have said the one flaw in the design is perhaps the outlet drain. This is essentially a water but tap, the bottom of which falls below the bottom of the bath. This isn't a problem for us as we have a small drain hole on the patio into which the tap can sit. An alternative might be to raise the bath an inch or two on something sturdy. Nevertheless a plug hole type of outlet would perhaps be better and this is the reason for only giving 4/5 for quality. I'm glad I looked at the reviews before buying, because I was tempted to buy the bigger one.The smaller size is plenty big enough for my springer spaniel with room to spare. The only thing I found a bit baffling was the tap being longer than the bath, but I've overcome this by sitting the bath on my patio and positioning the tap over the edge,therefore keeping the tap up from the ground, I was going to twist the tap to the side, but I think after a few times of doing this it might cause the connection to leak? I think it's well worth the money & I no longer have a wet smelly bathroom to clean, just rinse the bath out at the hosepipe in the garden & storeaway.Brilliant. No more worrying about scratched bath enamel and soaked bathroom carpet; we use it outside, fill it with a hose and a few kettles of hot water, and with the tap end near a drain it's easy to empty.
