We bought this for our lab puppy currently 6 months weighing 20 kilo, to keep him safe and secure in the back seat of the car. Its made from proper seatbelt material and has strong seatbelt buckles to fasten it on the dogs back. The harness is adjustable so we wont have to buy another as our pup grows but its definitely for larger dogs and wouldn't have been a secure fit if he was any smaller. We didn't buy any of the extra connector kits as the ordinary car seatbelt just loops through a handle on the dogs back. We will use it for travel only as it doesn't look very comfortable as a harness for exercising the dog in with the lead attached
