Excellent value for money I love how you can open up the roof so its easy to clean/empty of toys etc Customer service second to none I got a phone call to see if I would accept as it was damaged even offered me a discount so very pleased indeed Overall                     Quality                     Value                     Disappointed posted on 20/05/2012 01:52:41 by chy I have to say Im not over the moon with this item The wood had splits and chipped bits all over and I have several cuts and scrapes from putting it together There were no pilot holes which made things very tricky especially when trying to attach the roof parts and it was extremely frustrating trying to figure out where to attach the folding hinge brackets Then there is the problem of the green stuff on the roof coming off A LOT I was also surprised to see that the base of the kennel had such big gaps between the slats for an outside kennel I had to put in a lot of bedding into it to make it a warm place for my cats It was also A LOT smaller than it seems in the photos and I think too small for the price Im not 100 sure but I think the measurements of the width and depth are taken from the roof which is larger than the actual floor space of the kennel To be honest if I didnt desperately need it for my cats then I would have returned it PetPlanet Says: We would like to thank the customer in this review for their comments and apologise for any inconvenience caused. The other problem I came across was when fitting the roof; the hinges were not on the roof in the correct place and they did not line up to the side panels. I had to remove from the roof and reposition. I found it took two pairs of hands to assemble but actually took little time to do once I had some help. It is so easy to clean and it does not take up too much space in my garden. I bought it at a reduced price and found it good value for money. The only thing I was disappointed with is the finish on the roof but that is purely cosmetic. I would recommend this kennel for a very small dog or cats. Rather than continually punish the cat, I looked for a litter tray which we could keep outside. I wanted something which would keep the litter dry, accommodate a normal litter tray, and allow for easy changing/cleaning. This small dog kennel looks great and blends in with the garden. However, the opening roof is the feature which made me buy it. I can open the roof up and replace the litter tray so easily. I can't imagine a better solution.
