Excellent cage I am using it for 4 guinea pigs the base is quite deep but the shelf is great for the pigs to be able to look out The shelf as it is isnt suitable for the guinea pigs little feet but I have mine covered in vet bed as well as the ladder and they can get up it fine Plenty of space and a nice looking cage
