Am currently considering recovering the fur trim rather than replace it as he loves it so much. Half an hour after assembly the cat scratcher section had unravelled and the post was leaning at a 45 degree angle. The connecting screw having completely broken through and splintered the chipboard base. A waste of money. It is perfect for a little kitten and our older cat gave it a once over too and seemed to like it. The one downside to this is the assembly but thankfully I work with joiners so they will be able to secure all the pieces. The internal thread for the bolt which holds on the shelf has came away from the inside therefore we cant get the shelf on but we should be able to fix this in time for new kitty arriving.
