i had so many problems with my 3 year old tabby cat and even hadto change vets as one told me my big cat was massivly over weight and had to stop eating dry food the new vet said my 8kg cat was just a big cat that was a bit chubby and he had crystals in his urine and advised this food After being on this food for 2 weeks his problem had cleared up and ive had no problems in the 8 months hes been on it He loves the taste and its good for him so im happy with that and buying the bigger bags work out not much more expensive than the normal food he was on before anyway so i highly recommend it for any cat that has problems with crystals in their urine

Had problems with our male cat recurring cystitis which was getting expensive Havent had any flare ups since he has been eating this which was over 6 months ago he also loves the taste have to feed our other cat on it now too as she wanted this instead of her own food Much cheaper than at the vets too D

I have a 17 month old neutered Male who had to be hospitalised as he had a partially blocked urethra he absolouslty loves this food I also have a 12 nealy 13 year old neutered female as well who has in the past suffered with struvites She too enjoys this food and after discussion with Royal Canin directly I have been advised to keep them on this for at least 6 months before I decide to change to somehting else in the Royal Canin feeds Though if i do they would both need to be on seperate foods with there ages but that is like trying to stop a bull in a chiner shop As he wants her food and vise versa So they may be kept on this Though the price is not exactly the chapest I would like it if petplanet could bring back the smaller bag sizes they use to have for this food Though it is still cheaper then other SO foods and gives the better value
My cats love it and they definatly drink more and there for pee more which is the idea of the product Have just ordered my second bag a 6kg bag has lasted me 2months just

I was paying my vet the same amount for a bag of food half as big as this I thought as it was a specialist dietary food that it was only available from a vet however after doing a search on the internet a couple of years ago found the exact same thing I have also saved the time of having to get to the vets to pick it up with the free delivery

My cat has been on this food over 10 years previously supplied via a vet I paid the vet bill as my cat needed to have this food due to having bladder crystals but found the price they were charging was increasing rapidly To date the price via my vet was 33 approx for 3-5kilos and Pet Planet charge only 38 approx for 6kilos which is an awful lot of difference double the amount for virtually the same price I wish I had found Pet Planet years ago Thoroughly recommend excellent fast delivery Purrrfect

My cat suffered with urinary tract problems which prior to this diet led to frequent bouts of cystitis It was caused by a build up of struvite crystals in her bladder and this specially formulated diet helps reduce their formation Initially the vet recommended and sold me this prescription diet but I found it much cheaper online at Pet Planet and in a larger size I have this product regularly delivered and it always arrives in excellent time packaged well and of course delivered free to my door

My cat had been suffering from cystitis and urinary blockage for a couple of weeks ,I had been giving her a homeopathic remedy which was helping to some extent but that was not resolving the situation. She could still pee a little so I was not hugely worried and I was trying to avoid the stress of taking her to the vet which she hates I bought this food and after 2 feedings she was peeing by the bucketload Result Plus it was delivered really fast. I now mix this with another weight control product 5050 and she absolutely loves it. Shes very vital and her behaviour has changed too so thanks Royal Canin and Petplanet .

Cant thank pet planet enough for providing this lifeline at such a good price its not cheap food but is essential to keeping my cat alive Archie nearly died with a blocked bladder, put him on this as vet instructed ran out of food once when shop had to order it in and he nearly died again He cant live without this food So thanks again pet planet my Archie is so worth it

Our cat had recurring cystitis and on our vets recommendation we swopped to this food Shes a very picky eater and only eats what she knows so we thought we would have problems switching her over to this but she took to it right away no problems Its a little more expensive than the food she was on before but hopefully will help prevent recurrence of her symptoms

This product is brilliant. I have been using this for a few years now and last month went to vets and they wanted to charge me £50.50 which is why I went online and used Pet Planet who charged £38.99. Brilliant. There was a mix up with a duplicate order however once I spoke to them all was resolved and refunded without a hitch. Great service will use again.

Usual story cat gets sick I take him to the vet they keep him for 4 or 5 days diagnose crystals in his bladder uretha charge an arm a leg for the treatment They recomended Royal Canin Feline Urinary SO food at 32 for 35 kg Now ffor the good news I was able to purrchase a 6 kg bag from Petplanet delivery was very fast and instructions were folloed to the letter Well done Petplanet

After having one poorly cat having to spend 2 nights at the vets in trouble with a blocked bladder and being presented with this food as the best option to keep more problems at bay I switched all my cats to this and heypresto no more struggling with passing urine This site is better value for money, its still expensive but it works and here is much cheaper than the vets prices.

My 14yr old cat Trevor, spent 4 days in hospital with a blocked bladder. His vet insisted that he be fed on Royal Canin S/O which is expensive compared to his usual food, BUT so much better than a sick cat and vets bills.He loves both the wet and dry food. Gary his ginger step brother is very keen too. Now I have to watch their weight!Both are well and happy boys.Mousing daily to supplement their Royal Canin.

I ordered it on line from pet planet because it is beter value that buying it from the vet, there was no problem and it was delivered in a few days. We have used this food for our cat for a couple of years now. The Vet has recommended it to control urinary mineral build up causing repeated cystitis. Our cat has not had cystitis since the crystals were cleared by the product. Full marks to Pet Planet Item ordered on Monday, delivered first thing this morning.

A wonderful buy as the local vet was charging a small fortune for this food.Out cat just loves it which is great as it is always a worry when changing foods. The sachets of wet food in this range are not as good, they have a nasty odour and the cat will not even lick the gravy and he's not a fussy boy!

Recommended by vet but just too pricey to buy from her. Saved a packet buying it through PetPlanet and it's worth every penny just to see my cat's eyes fall out of his face with excitement when the MASSIVE bag of food arrives.
I've been told by my vet that it's fine for cats without urinary problems to eat this food, my other cat has no urinary problems and thoroughly enjoys it.

Our tom cat has had urinary problems and the vet recommended the pouch version of this food, as he didn't like dried food. Although we tried to separate him from his sister at mealtimes, he suddenly took a liking to her ordinary dried food. Now they both really enjoy this dried product. I have five cats! One who has suffered constant urinary problems. It has been difficult to change his diet, due to the fact that we feed the cats all the same food. Having researched everywhere, we were finding the cat food bill was going to double! However I then found the dry version on this site and found that I could actually feed all my cats and save money. The food has made one of my older cats a little sick in the begining, but this has now stopped. I follow the feeding guidelines ... the cat with the urinary problems appears to be fine at the moment and the blood in his urine has stopped. I am now going to order my second bag. The free delivery also made a huge difference when calculating cost.

My male cat was given this food by our vet when he had severe urinary problems 2 years ago.He has to keep to this diet for the rest of his life, so buying the food in large bags works out to be much cheaper than buying from the vet.My other cat also likes the taste of it!

One of our cats has had a couple of bouts of urinary infection so we now use this to help prevent any further occurrences. The 6kg bag is surprisingly large... it's going to take him months to chomp through (as this is not his sole diet). Excellent value!
Only downside is the bag doesn't have one of those resealable zip things, so we've had to put tape over the cut corner to keep it fresh.

I have two cats, both developed urinary tract problems-the male was very ill and needed transfusions, the female frequently had problems passing urine and passing blood. Vet recommended they have this product. Their problem only recurred after taking another food.

We have been buying Royal Canin as recommended by the Vet from Pet Planet for a considerably cheaper amount. Both cats love the food, are thriving and no infections in over two years(touch wood).

Although obviously very relieved that this could be resolved simply with a special diet, I was initially concerned with the price, though Pet Planet seems to supply it cheaper than anywhere else! However, in this large size it actually isn't bad value as I find it lasts my one cat about 3 months. Also she look happier and healthier than ever, with a lovely glossy coat. The only drawback I find with this product is she has become a little bit chubbier though she is a housecat which probably doesn't help! But she seems to enjoy it and it keeps her satisfied for a long time and most importantly, no more bladder discomfort, she is happy and well!

This is the only food that my cat can eat due to having urinary problems. Buying it from Pet Planet has saved me alot of money. This dry food is so much more expensive to buy from the Vets. It would be great if Pet Planet sold the calorie reduced version.

Our persian cat will eat this dry food much more enthusiastically than the wet kind. He has to be on this diet since having bladder stone crystals a few years back. Thankfully the problem has not recurred, because the vet's treatment was expensive! I can only conclude that this diet works. It is much cheaper from Pet Planet than buying from the vet - a saving of nearly £10 on a large bag - and delivered to our door too!

I was advised by my vet to buy this product to help one of my cats who suffers with chronic cystitus ... I'm glad I did, all 3 of my cats can't get enough at meal times. It does what it says on the packet .. my poor suffering cat, suffers no more .. her cystitus has cleared up & she has stopped urinating in the house. Still after all this time they are not bored of it and happily eat it all up!
All the neighbourhood cats seem to love it too, and often there are fights in the kitchen at night as they have slunk in the catflap to pinch all the food!

We have two Devon Rex cats, now aged 12, and from an early age one developed crystals in his urine which in turn caused bleeding and distress. This product was recommended by the vet and both cats have had it fed to them exclusively for many years now. This diet has proved to be successful and as a 6kg bag lasts for approximately 2 months it is also economic. Until recently we were only able to purchase the food from the vet. We have been very satisfied with our dealings with Pet Planet, even more so now as the cost of this food was approximately 27% more expensive from the vet. More great value from Pet Planet!

After finding your site i've discovered it's a lot cheaper to purchase this product from petplanet than my vet and it was delivered to my house which also saved a journey to my vet's to collect the food .The product arrived in perfect condition will be ordering again from petplanet.
