Some items are available for Express Delivery, for only an additional £2.99.
To make things easier for our customers we show on the product page beside the icon when this will be delivered if Express Delivery is selected at the checkout.
Please Note: The delivery date changes each day at 2pm and will also change to take account of weekends and courier bank holidays.
We offer FREE DELIVERY on orders over £39**, however, regional surcharges may apply and will be clearly shown at checkout.
Your order will be delivered on a Standard Delivery service.
Our standard delivery charge is £4.95 no matter how many items you order. Regional surcharges may apply and will be clearly shown at checkout.
For customers who opt for Standard Delivery we will despatch your goods within 2 days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) and these will be delivered by one of our courier partners on a 2 or 3 day service, so it will take 5 or 6 working days to get the goods to you.
If a customer places an order on a weekend, we aim to have the goods before the next weekend. Some items delivered from our satellite warehouses may take a little longer to be delivered; in these cases you will be alerted to our expected despatch lead-time before checkout.
Some of our bulkier items require a TWO MAN delivery service. Our courier partner will contact you directly to arrange a time when they will deliver the order.
We use this icon to draw your careful attention to information regarding the delivery of the product you are considering purchasing.
This will most commonly be to alert you if despatch is likely to take longer than our standard 3 days. We will also alert you if some of our larger items have any delivery area restrictions (e.g. Mainland UK only).
You will be reminded and asked to accept any exceptions to our standard 2-day despatch terms during the checkout process.
Depending on the courier service we need to use for your order, delivery addresses in the following areas may require us to make a customised delivery charge. If a customised charge is required this will be clearly indicated at the shipping options page.

For orders placed over the phone we apply an additional £1.99 charge to cover the cost of our customer service staff (and to encourage you to order online; it's cheaper for us if you do!).
*Deliveries are made Monday-Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm excluding Public Holidays, and we do not offer a Saturday delivery.
**When buying a gift voucher alongside other items, the value of the gift voucher does not contribute to the order value total for the purposes of calculating the free delivery threshold.
The majority of goods are shipped from our central warehouse; a few products are shipped from other locations and in these cases you may receive more than one delivery.
Tracking your order
We know once you have placed your order you want to know when it will be delivered, we will keep you informed by sending you an email to let you know: -
- 1. Which of our courier partners will be delivering your order
- 2. The courier tracking reference number
- 3. A link to the courier tracking website
If for any reason you are not able to track your order using the details on this email then please get in touch using our customer contact form.
If your goods arrive damaged when delivered then we apologise and will do everything we can to rectify the situation.
IMPORTANT: When signing for the delivery, if there is any damage to the box at all please sign for as "damaged" or do not accept the delivery. All items damaged in transit must be notified to us within 48 hours using our customer contact form. Failure to do this may result in the item not being replaced.
The legal stuff
When you place an order you will receive a confirmation e-mail. This e-mail does not constitute acceptance amounting to a contract; acceptance takes place when the product is despatched, until which time PetPlanet.co.uk are entitled to withdraw the offer.
PetPlanet.co.uk will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery and will not be liable for any loss or damage to goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions.
