This 12” hanging peanut feeders will attract an array of birds, including Tits, Finches, Siskins and Woodpeckers, but also ground feeding birds as they will collect the peanut pieces that have fallen to the ground.
It is a heavy-duty construction, made from cast steel and has a quick release base for easy cleaning. It’s essential to regularly clean out the feeder as birds carry diseases, and be sure not to overfill the feeder as food left too long can go mouldy due to damp conditions.
Young birds can choke easily on whole peanuts, therefore from April - September only feed peanuts in a peanut feeder.
