 | | Picture the scene: it’s a dark night and your dog has gone wandering off out of earshot. You are now in a panic trying to find him, but you know he’s likely to be lying under a bush getting mucky (let’s face it, that’s what they like to do!). Thankfully, you’ve got the Loc8tor Plus hand-held tracking system! With Loc8tor, a small homing tag attaches onto your dog’s collar with a keyring-type loop. Upon activation, the hand-held unit will locate the tag and begin issuing a series of short, regular beeps. Turn on the spot until the beeps begin to get faster, and then head in the direction where they appear to be fastest. As you approach your dog’s hiding place, the beeps get faster still, until a long continuous tone indicates that you are right next to the tag, and, of course, your dog! Loc8tor will also allow you to set a boundary area, e.g. around your own house, and if your tagged dog goes out of your specified control area, the tag will automatically send a signal back to the hand held unit, sounding an alarm and alerting you to the fact that the dog has gone walkies on his own! It then switches to locate mode at the touch of a button, and the hunt is on again! Loc8tor tags can also be used on objects around your home, such as a wallet, car keys etc, to ensure that they don’t go missing, and up to 24 tags can be registered on one hand-held device! If it’s the kids you want to keep track of, a panic tag is also included in the pack, which incorporates a handy panic button that the kids can press should they get themselves into trouble. This panic button, when pressed, will also set off an alarm on the hand-held device so that you know to come running! The maximum tracking range of the hand held device is 600ft (183mtr), and tracking is accurate to within 1” (2.5cm). The Loc8tor Plus pack comes with the hand-held tracking unit, 3 homing tags, a panic tag, keyring clips and sticky pads, as well as batteries and instruction manual. Extra tags available separately.More Info |
