Easy to use and effective. Place the small portable base unit in an area you want to keep your pet away from. This will create an off limits zone of a 6-10 foot area. If your pet comes into that zone, the base unit sends a signal to the transmitter on their collar. The transmitter emits a tone at a frequency that only your pet will hear to warn them to stay away! Repeated events will eventually train your pet to avoid that area all together. You can adjust the frequency to suit your pet. The base unit operates from a 9v battery (not included) .
