A: When Will My Boxer Puppy Start Teething? PetPlanet Vets PPAdmin pettalk@petplanet.co.uk
Permanent teeth do begin to erupt in most dogs between two and five months of age. Incisors normally appear first, and the whole process of teething is usually complete by seven months of age. However, as with humans, there will always be exceptions to the rule, individuals who teeth late, or where teeth erupt in an unusual order. Do not worry that there are no signs of teething just yet. The permanent teeth will probably appear in their own good time. The most important thing is that temporary teeth are lost before
their permanent replacements appear. If they are not, then seek advice from your vet. Angela Bodey MRCVS (Vet for PetPlanet)
