Sneezing Dwarf Lop

Q: Sneezing Dwarf Lop PetPlanet Talk Adminstrator PPAdmin pettalk@petplanet.co.uk I have a dwarf lop rabbit, which I bought 4 weeks ago. For the last 3/4 days he has been making short sneezing noises. I bring the hutch in every evening, so I cant see that he is getting cold. He is eating and behaving fine. Please could you tell me what it could be and if I should take him to a vet? Regards Belinda Rice

Check for any discharge from his nose, check that the hay is not dusty, and if it persists, see your vet. The change in temperature from outside to inside every night & morning may also be a problem. Most rabbits do well either as indoor 'house rabbits', or outside with their hutches insulated and covered in winter. Steve Mullender MRCVS vet for petplanet
