	Jack Russell with a Skin Condition Q: Have taken Gunner to our local vet a few weeks ago with a skin condition but now he is as bad as ever. He is mostly white in colour but we noticed his lovely white coat gradually changed to a patchy muddy hue. We thought he had rolled in something but it did not wash out. Closer examination showed quite pinky and weeping at the roots of the hairs. He was treated with antibiotics and cream and this cleared the root problem bur did nothing to get rid of the patchiness. The vet said it was overactive grease glands. It is getting worse again and he has become lethargic. He is eating OK but turns away from treats which is unheard of. The vet did not really know what it was - can you help Gunner ?????

A: I am sorry to hear of Gunner's illness. You should take him back to your vet and point out his lethargy, reluctance to eat and the fact that his skin condition is back again. They will need to examine him to help determine the best course of treatment.
