	Collie Cross who is in Pain Q: My dog has been ill on and off lately. he has been sick a few times and has had constipation occasionally too. He has been standing up to urinate ( on all fours). This is not happening all the time. He also seems to be guarding his tummy. Please can you advise me on what i should do as I am worried about him. he is a 3 or4 year old border collie cross.

A: Dear Leanne Your dog is suffering abdominal pain. This is potentially very serious and the cause must be investigated as soon as possible!! You must go to your vet, who will examine him and possibly take x-rays to find the cause. There is no point in my guessing, as there are too many possibilities.
