	Puppy who is Sneezing a Lot Q: Hi, My seven weeks old puppy (a terrier mix) seems to be sneezing a lot. There are no other symptoms, and she eats and everything else seems to be fine. I've only had her a week, but she didn't seem to be sneezing as much on the first few days. Do dogs get colds? If it's allergies, what can be done? She doesn't do this all day long, but has little fits of it, especially when excited. When she's in her crate, relaxing, I don't hear her sneeze as much. A: Hi Laurie, Sneezing is obviously just a symptom itself. It can be caused by irritants, allergies, infections and physical defects. It does not sound too serious in your pup at the moment since he is otherwise well. But his vaccinations are due in a week and any minor infections need to be sorted out by then or you'll have to put them off. So despite the fact it doesn't sound like much of a problem I'd recommend taking him in to the vet for a check over. All new pups should be checked after purchase as often problems can be found and treated or the pup returned to the breeder before people are too attached to it.
