Dear Elaine,
Has the sneezing/snorting started suddenly, without any previous episodes? If so, then there is a possibility your spaniel may have a grass seed lodged in the nose. Take her along to your vet to have her checked over. This is especially important if she is also showing signs of being generally unwell
(lethargy, inappetance), or if there is any discharge from the nose. Other
possibilities include bacterial/viral infection, which can be spotted and
treated accordingly by your vet. Grass and pollen allergy is very common in dogs, however unlike in ourselves, the symptoms usually show as skin irritation (redness,
scratching) rather than respiratory or eye problems. Hope she makes a swift recovery,
