We bought the unit as we wanted a cat house made outside, We have two kittens, but as the road near us is far too busy, we decided we would build something for them to go out and be safe at the same time. I had done some research on cat flaps and finally settled on the Sureflap plus a few extendible tunnel pieces to fit into the wall cavity. All arrived in good time for the build. The tunnel was easy enough to put together, the flap itself is a breeze to programme. The hardest part is getting the cats to go through it for the first time for the unit to read the microchips in their necks. We have two kittens and one rather large 2year old ginger tom (Garfield springs to mind) we did think he was not going to be able to use the tunnel due to his size, but this isn't the case. He went through first time with no issues. The unit has been in place for 2 weeks now with no issues. I'd highly recommend purchasing one of these, weather you are letting you're cat roam free or as we have done via a cat run/house. The perfect feature is the unit will only let an approved cat into the home, this might have been over kill for us, but ideal for someone who has a lot of cats in the neighbourhood.
