Bought one of these toys at Christmas and it was well played with by my cat and my daughters ( visiting cat) , he played with it constantly for 2 months so had to buy him one to take home. Also bought my cat another one as he loves it so much well worth the money. Just don't leave them alone with it .

One of our cats is eight years old and a bit portly as she doesn't deign to chase the 'fishing rod' we use to exercise the others. This, however, she loves! I set it up about half an hour ago, she hasn't stopped playing with it, and looks appealingly at me when it stops! The 'remote control' only works a very short distance but it does stop me having to bend down (unless to right the toy). With the movement attempts even while caught the toy simulates prey very well, perfect for keeping her attention and increasing her exercise!

My husband likes this as he can amuse our cats without moving from his chair.They do pull the toy over in their excitement so base could be a bit heavier. I am not sure if you are able to purchase spare wands. It comes with a spare but the first one has already lost a feather. I am pleased with this toy as my cats love it.

My female kitten loves this toy and the way the feathers whizz around madly She managed to pull the attachment holding the feathers so I had to purchase another toy just for this part but well worth it Its fun watching them trying to catch the feathers

It is ok for kitten but not for adult cat which by the way loves to play. Too small and not enough powerful for adult cat.
