Great value

i have been using this style of automatic pet feeder for over 20 years with various cats. It is far superior to electronic models which came later which were so complicated and never worked. Still got the original one which has been going strong and only needed another one when it fell from a great height and damaged the clockwork mechanism. The price from PetPlanet is extremely competitive. So useful when you know you're going to be out all day or even all night. The mechanism is also quite quiet. Just remember to put a battery in! Battery last for ages. Highly recommended.

Very popular with my cats

I have 2 of these feeders now so I can leave my cats overnight. They work very well and are easy to clean. It is great that they can be kept cool in hot weather.

Great for feeding cats in owner's absence

Had this product many years ago and am pleased my new version is just as good today. However, my cats have changed, now own two old Persians, one with an especially flat face. Therefore I have made an insert into the dishes so that my Annie and Dolly don't get their whiskers too wet whilst eating! This has worked well and the good sized dishes are much better than some other feeders I have had!

This must be for smaller cats..

We got this as a gift and were really excited but unfortunately it didn't work at all for our cat. It took him maybe 15min to get into it the first time and now he can pretty much just bat it open in one hit. To be fair, our cat is a problem solver. He can open the fridge and most doors so I expect for many people this feeder works just fine. But if your cat is strong and determined this feeder will be no match!!
